Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Picnic and Seminars : An Afternoon at the Vineyard

This year's annual Stag's Leap Wine Cellars picnic and seminars will take place on Sunday, August 19. Alumni Warren and Barbara Winiarski once again will open their Napa Valley winery on the scenic Silverado Trail to us for a day of picnicking and conversation. Many thanks to the Winiarskis for their generosity and kindness in inviting us once again.

We will enjoy the company of tutors emeriti and honorary alumni Wendy Allanbrook, A’99, and Tom Slakey, and former tutor, as well as alumnus, James Forkin. If ever there were a St. John's star-studded event in California, this is it!

The gathering lasts from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM, including the optional winery tour beforehand. Because of the popularity of this event and the limitation on the number of people that the winery can accommodate comfortably, reservations are required.

  

Please use the Registration Form on this site to register. If the event is full, we will let you know and put you on the waiting list. Otherwise, you will receive a confirmation e-mail message or phone call. If both of your seminar choices are full, we will let you choose an alternate. If anyone in your group cancels, please inform Reynaldo immediately, so that we can make that person's space available to someone else.

In addtion to seminars, we will have the opportunity to tour the vineyard, as well as the caves. The winery tour will leave from the lake at 10:00 AM.

We will also be discussing the state of the chapter, and possibilities for the coming year at the chapter meeting at 11:00 AM in the Great Room. .
