6/20/2007 St. John's Joins Other Institutions in Protesting College Rankings
 

Annapolis President Christopher Nelson and Santa Fe President Michael Peters have joined with other colleges to ask their colleagues in higher education to boycott the U.S. News and World Reports system of ranking colleges.

   
5/29/2007 St. John’s College Wins CASE Gold Medals
 
St. John’s College has won prestigious awards for its publications from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). The Washington, D.C.-based organization awarded the college two Gold Medals in the 2007 CASE Circle of Excellence awards. The college’s student recruitment material won the award in the Student Recruitment Publication Package, and the college’s publications promoting “With a Clear and Single Purpose”: The Campaign for St. John’s College won the top award for fundraising publications. More than 60 entries were submitted in each category and were judged by a panel of professionals from colleges and universities across the country.

The publications were produced by college staff and by Neustadt Creative Marketing/Claude Skelton Design of Towson, Md.
